Simple Infused Water Recipes to Flush the Fat

Ever get tired of plain old water? The taste can be quite bland, unappealing, and so difficult to consume when you’re aching for a mojito at the beachside bar! Well, I’ll let you in on one of my best-kept secrets: Non-alcoholic fancy summer water! Who said water has to be boring? Check out these 3 recipes below!

Strawberry Mojito Limeade

Chop 3-5 strawberries and add to 20 ounces of water. Squeeze the juice of one-half of a lime into the water and add 6 mint leaves! Refrigerate for a few hours and voila! You have yourself one delicious, alcohol-free mojito that all of your friends will be dying to try! The plus side? Your alcohol-free drink is incredibly delicious, and you can continue to live a healthy lifestyle by sticking to your clean-eating diet goals!

Kiwi Surprise-

Who would’ve thought that kiwi can be infused in water to create a delicious summer beverage! For this fruity water, skin and dice 3 kiwis and add it to 20 ounces of water. Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours and enjoy wherever you go!

Citrus Sunrise

This drink is nothing short of refreshing and is perfect for an early morning walk on the beach or evening sunset! It reminds me of a beautiful sunrise, full of bright oranges and yellows! Slice 2 oranges and 3 lemons and add to a 32-ounce pitcher of water. Then, thinly slice 3 strawberries and add to the infused water before refrigerating! This combination is one of my favorites, and I’m sure you will enjoy it too!

Not only are these recipes a great treat for our taste buds, but they also aid in the detoxification of our bodies, and cleansing of the liver! For example, kiwis aid in digestion, oranges help with circulation, and lemons are great for detoxing and digestion!

Water doesn’t have to be boring! Why sacrifice flavor when you can infuse your water with healthy alternatives to artificial sugars and alcohol!! Just remember, these infused waters are best when enjoyed cold! If you’d prefer to drink your water without the fruit inside, you can use a strainer to take out the fruit! However, the fruits are just as tasty to snack on! See you poolside!
